What data we collect

• the account identifier (including for guests);
• your name and e-mail, if you sign in with Google or Facebook;
• your coins, subscription and unlocked episodes;
• your list, history, reminders and preferences;
• the comments and clips you post (with sound, if you film with the microphone on) — your name and your account's random identifier are shown next to a public comment;
• messages to support and appeals (the text, your account's verified e-mail, your VIP plan and coin balance, so we can check a complaint);
• your data choices (including whether you said you are 16 or older) and when you made them, as proof of consent;
• the push-notification token and when you last used the app (for reminders and new-episode notifications);
• your IP address, only as a pseudonym and only for security (anti-abuse limits, app verification);
• the advertising identifier and your account identifier reach the ad networks every time an ad is shown (for measurement, frequency capping and fraud prevention; rewarded ads use it to give you your coins). Without your consent ads are non-personalised;
• only with your consent: usage statistics (including purchase values, sent to Meta and AppsFlyer for ad measurement) and crash reports.

DONG does not collect your location, contacts or call logs. The camera and microphone are used only when you film a clip in Creator Space.

Why

• to operate your account and the paid service — contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR);
• statistics and personalised ads — consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time;
• payment records — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Who we share it with

Google (Firebase, AdMob, Google Play), RevenueCat (payments), Meta (only if you sign in with Facebook), the ad networks in mediation (AppLovin, Meta, Unity, Mintegral, ironSource, Liftoff, InMobi, Chartboost, DT Exchange, Moloco, BidMachine and, only after assessment, Pangle), AppsFlyer, Meta App Events and Volcengine DataFinder — these only with your consent. Videos may be delivered through CDNs (Bunny, Akamai, Cloudflare, Fastly, Amazon CloudFront, Volcengine, Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud), which see your phone's IP address. Payments on the website are processed by Airwallex. Account data is stored in the European Union. Transfers outside the EU are based on standard contractual clauses.

How long

Until you delete your account. Payment records are kept for as long as the law requires. Ad confirmations are deleted after 90 days. A copy of a comment removed by a moderator is kept for 200 days (while the decision can be appealed), and the moderation decision and the proof of consent remain, without your name, for the transparency report (DSA) and audits.

Your rights

Access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection and withdrawal of consent — directly in the app (Settings → Download my data / Delete account / Data permissions) or at [e-mail]. You can lodge a complaint with ANSPDCP, the Romanian data protection authority (dataprotection.ro).

Children

DONG is not directed at children under 13.
